Main Page The Nitty-gritty Other Things

How did we get here?

I started out on YouTube on 30 Apr 2024 (I went by Temporary Channel at the time), and I posted rudimentary attention-grabbing content, as well as some footage of a game called Survivalcraft 2. I felt quite miserable having not a single subscriber to my name, so I posted a video asking people to sub to me. That didn't go so well; I only gained 4 subscribers. The highest amount of views I had at the time were on a single short showcasing the timeline of national flags for the African nation of Mozambique (which has grown to be one of my favorites). In an attempt to diversify my content palette, I rebranded to NetherStarMC at the start of June. I don't exactly know when, though.

Now for something different. On 26 May 2024, I created a DeviantArt account, posting rudimentary things there, too. I slowly improved my craft over a matter of months, and I grown to be quite successful there, amassing a large amount of watchers. I made it to 10 watchers on 04 Jun 2024, and then all the way up to 100 watchers on 22 Jul 2024, and then 200 watchers on 07 Jan 2025. In doing so, I started a Countryball v. Countryball series, but after a while, someone deemed it gimmicky (which it was really starting to become, so I decided to broaden my horizons. On 16 Mar 2025, I started my Horrorballs series, pioneered by one of my friends. Fast-forward to mid-June...and it flops hard. As a result of the albeit insultingly low demand, I was forced to cancel it. How somber that was.

About ten days later, I started a new series called Your Lucky Star, inspired by a bunch of pictures I made that I originally saved for Reddit, but I'm quite unpopular there, so I decided to bring it all to DeviantArt...where it belongs.

That's pretty much it. I'll let you know if I find anything else about about my adventures online.
